The Relationship Between Gut Bacteria and Multiple Sclerosis

Cathy Chester wrote a great article for MS News Today reminding us about the importance of thinking about our Gut Health with MS. In the article, Cathy quotes research from Harvard Medical School investigators, “What we eat influences the ability of bacteria in our gut to produce small molecules, some of which are capable of traveling all the way to the brain. This opens up an area that’s largely been unknown until now: how the gut controls brain inflammation,”
She is absolutely right that there is a connection between Gut Health and Multiple Sclerosis but I would argue that you don’t have to avoid all food that is tasty. Hehe. We just have to develop a taste for the Gut Healthy food.
